As simple as "be yourself" may sound, sometimes it isn't so simple.

In a world filled with so much noise and trends, it's easy to get caught up in the fear of judgement or other people's expectations or perceptions of us.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

Being true to your authentic self is crucial to your inner peace as well as creating alignment and fulfillment in your life.

Here are 4 tips to help you stay true to your authentic self so that you can become more liberated, more yourself, and more on purpose.

1. Alignment

Say 'yes' to more things that are aligned with your values, priorities, and what drives you in life. Align your feelings and desires with your words and actions. Tune into your intuition, listen to what it has to say, if something feels off- it's likely for a reason.

2. Boundaries

Set boundaries for how you want to use your time and how you expect to be treated. Whether it be emotional, physical, social, or digital, remember that "no" is a perfectly good answer. Release the obligation to people, places, or activities that are no longer aligned with your values.

3. Values

Focus on purpose and progress, avoid perfection. Perfect is an illusion and chasing it will only slow you down. Instead, being purposeful and improving daily in the things that matter most to you will create more alignment with your values.

4. Expectations

Replace unrealistic expectations for yourself, with realistic ones. Release the idea of who you think you're you're "supposed" to be, and be who you actually are.
